March 10 – Virginia, Mountain Iron, Eveleth, and Hibbing firefighters were paged out this afternoon to a house fire in Virginia. The fire was called in around 3:00 P.M. in the 500 block of 8th Street South. The fire was contained to a small area in the back porch. Virginia firefighters remained on the scene and the other departments were cancelled while they were enroute. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Virginia Fire Marshal.
