Hibbing area home a “total loss”

September 30 – The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Hibbing authorities in the investigation of an early morning house fire in the Leetonia area of rural Hibbing. The fire was reported around 2:50 a.m. in the 4200 block of 2nd Street. The Hibbing, Chisholm, Keewatin, and Nashwauk fire departments were dispatched to the blaze. The house is considered a total loss. No one was home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported.
