House Fire in Chisholm
May 30, 2009 — Chisholm and Hibbing firefighters battle a house fire at 12 SW 1st Street in Chisholm. The fire at the vacant house was reported just after 6:30 pm. No injuries were reported, although several nearby structures including two homes were damaged. According to Chisholm fire officials, the house had been the subject of an on-going arson investigation from 2006. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office and the Chisholm Fire Department say the most recent fire is also suspicious in nature.
