Clinton Home Destroyed
April 30, 2009 — Clinton Township firefighters, with assistance from the Cherry and McDavitt fire departments spent most of the day battling a house fire at 8680 Spruce Drive in Clinton. The fire was reported around 10:10 a.m. The home, which was unoccupied at time, was engulfed in flames when crews arrived. No injuries were reported, but two cats perished in the blaze. Damages were estimated at $90,000. The cause is under investigation.
