Christmas Day Fire Destroys Aurora Mobile Home
December 25, 2008 — An early afternoon fire, which may have been caused by a wood burning stove, destroyed an Aurora mobile home. The fire was reported just after 1:00 p.m. at 302 Midland Drive. Firefighters from Aurora and Palo were dispatched to the scene, but the home was already engulfed in flames when they arrived. Over 20 firefighters were involved in fighting the blaze and crews remained on the scene for over two hours.
