Eveleth House Destroyed
November 28, 2008 — Firefighters from Eveleth, Fayal Township, Virginia and Mountain Iron were dispatched to a report of a house fire at 208 Elba Avenue North in Eveleth. The fire was reported just at 7:00 P.M. Several interior attacks were conducted, but a decision was made to go "defensive" after the structural integrity of the house became questionable. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. The two story house was in the process of being remodeled at the time of the fire
