Virginia Apartment Building Destroyed

December 4, 2004 — Firefighters from Virginia, Mountain Iron and Eveleth were called to battle an early morning apartment building fire at 502 6th Avenue North in Virginia. The blaze was called in shortly after 1:00 a.m. Damages were put at $100,000. The building was considered to be a total loss.
