Royal Abrahamson Retires From Lakewood FD
May 1, 2008 — After 29 years of dedicated service, Royal Abrahamson has retired from the Lakewood Fire Department. Abrahamson had served in a number of key positions from fire chief, to assistant chief to training officer. In addition to his time with the Lakewood department, he remains a dedicated member of the Lakehead Mutual Aid Association and had served as the organization's president. He was also an instructor for Lake Superior College for many years. Congratulations, Royal.
