Landmark Iron Range Bar Destroyed
December 20, 2006 — The Mooseline Cafe, located on St. Louis County Road 16, was destroyed by an early morning fire. The blaze was reported around 4:00 a.m. Initially, the Colvin Township and Palo fire departments were called to the scene, with mutual aid being provided by the Lakeland and Aurora departments. The "Mooseline" is located south of Hoyt Lakes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
