Multiple Structures Destroyed and Damaged in Virginia
July 18,2011 — Three garages, four vehicles and a shed were destroyed during a fire in Virginia's Northside area. The blaze was reported around 8:30 p.m. in the 800 block of 12th Street North. Firefighters from Virginia, Mountain Iron, Eveleth, Fayal Township and Biwabik battled the fire in hot and humid conditions. Three families were displaced by the fire when three homes in the area were damaged. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No damage estimate is available.
