Gilbert Bar Destroyed / Owner Charged With Arson
June 16, 2011 — A late night fire destroyed The Risky Business Bar, located in downtown Gilbert. The fire was reported around 11:30 p.m. Firefighters from Gilbert, Eveleth, Fayal Township and Virginia battled the blaze, which was determined to be arson. The bar's owner, 38 year old James Millis, was charged with two counts of 1st Degree Arson. Two people were taken by ambulance to the Virginia Regional Medical Center for smoke inhalation. They were treated and released. The cause of the fire was investigated by the Gilbert Police Department and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office.
