Chisholm Aerial Truck Undergoing Repairs

July 30, 2009 — Chisholm's 1988 General Tele-Squrt will be getting some well deserved TLC. The city council recently approved around $13,000 for a complete re-build of the truck's boom. The work is being done by Emergency Apparatus Maintenance (EAM). The apparatus was purchased in 1988 at a cost of $170,000. According to Chisholm Fire Chief Bob Brown, the work will enable the truck to continue to serve the community for another 20 years.
